The objective of this project is to repair the HVAC system of four buildings:

• B225, Nas I – The building areas affected by the work are: the NEX security office at the ground floor, the NEX office at the first floor, the east mechanical room, and the west mechanical room.

For the offices, replacement of fan coils was carried out, horizontal exposed type for the ground floor and ducted type for the first floor. In the two mechanical rooms, water circulation pumps including their manifolds, valves, corroded piping and damaged insulation were replaced.

• B469, Nas II – The project involved cleaning and sanitizing the air conditioning system characterized by packaged floor mounted heat pump chiller units, installation of fire dampers, and installation of DDC sensors.

• B472, Nas II – The project aimed to demolish the existing HVAC system and design and construct a new system to serve the entire facility, complete with new controls and a new air exhaust system for the two toilets.

B2100, Niscemi – The scope of work for this building included the replacement of a chiller and two air handling units including all exterior hydronic piping and valves and new DDC controls.
